In Atlanta, I had the wonderful opportunity to attend the Lé Market by Her Market last weekend. Her Market is a platform that creates curated market-style pop-up shops for women-owned indie brands. Her Market was created by Kia Perry, who is also a graphic designer and Jazlin Pitts, who focuses on marketing & brand strategy. They both that love to share and tell authentic stories about women-founded, indie brands. They created this free to the public event, and it was amazing to attend.

The Venue

Her Market partnered with the amazing WeWork, a company that creates an environment of co-working spaces for businesses that promote creativity and host other events to build connections. For this event, the event took place at the Peachtree Street location in Atlanta, GA. The open space, the wide windows, and the open kitchen were one of the best venus spaces I have seen. Her Market really took advantage of the space. They placed the vendors outside in the open to allow people to either walk up to the event and it would be noticeable to get more attention. It’s a great move for Her Market and the businesses too.

The Vendors

The products and services provided were excellent and beautiful. There were some of everything: skincare, hair care, food, massages, bags, and even interior design services were shown there. Her Market gave away free bags to the first 20 attendees too with all the vendors and sponsors’ products. The vendors that were presented included Clearlee, iwi Fresh, BLK + MRT, Ajaa’ Naturals, APT 5 Interiors, The Social Wellness Club, Lotus Flower Om, Femme Noire, Teneka Steed, Ph.D. and other vendors that donated to the gifted bags. I did get two pins from BLK + MRT. I love them and I want the BLK + MRT bag next!

The Vibe

The atmosphere was amazing, and the DJ Shawny Taught U was popping the whole event. My friend, Azari, and I were constantly dancing and singing to music while shopping and taking photos. The open food space on the inside made it easy for everyone to sit down, get a snack and chat with each other more. That was great! Overall this event was very well done, fun and amazing to go to. I am definitely purchasing products from the vendors I saw there, and I can’t wait for their next event.

The Outfit

Since I have been asked, here are the outfit details below with the shop links. I tend to stay with cute and comfy clothing while I am out for events. You never know when you need to start dancing. The dress is sold out!

Be blessed,
