Winter is a time where most of us like to stay warm inside. I know personally, that winter gives my skin a huge challenge all over! Winter comes with colds, germs, and sniffles that your body is battling for the day-to-day. Here I bring you 6 products I have used for the perfect winter body care:
Taking an Apple Cider Vinegar Bath at least once a week.
Apple Cider Vinegar* is a natural purifier and helps balance the P.H. levels of your body. A vagina is naturally acidic and self-cleanses. The ACV helps along the process of balancing your vagina’s p.h. Put only 8 oz into the bath and get ready for your body healing. It’s important to get one with “The Mother”. It’s the purest form of vinegar you can buy. I use Dr. Bragg’s Apple Cider Vinegar*.
Taking care of your feet.
From working in retail to walking around day to day, I am on my feet daily moving around. I make sure my feet are well cared for by using a pumice stone* to remove the dead skin cells from the heels, arch, and toes. It’s like a mini spa to ease the aches of my feet.
Taking care of your health.
For this winter, many of us are getting sick (wear your coats and gloves, loves). To help, I like to use Dr. Singah’s Mustard Bath to help sweat out the toxins in the bath. Can you see there is much basking in a bath happening this winter? Sit in the bath for ten minutes while Dr. Singah’s Mustard Bath is doing its work. Then, get ready to fall asleep. It takes so much out of you so be prepared. I also use Dr. Teal’s Lavendar Epson Salt* in my baths when I need something relaxing and to clear out my sinus.
Taking care of your skin.
Let’s keep your skin smooth and remove all the dead skin cells from it! Two of my favorite products are the Cocokind Skincare Organic Sea Moss Exfoliator* and the Hanahana Beauty Shea Body Butter. The Cocokind Skincare Organic Sea Moss Exfoliator* is a physical exfoliator that uses sea moss to gently remove dead skin cells without causing micro-cuts on your skin. I use it before shaving and removing old deodorant every day. The Hanahana Beauty Shea Body Butter* is one of my favorites to moisturizer. It is whipped shea butter sourced from Ghana that is blended well with essential oils. They now have multiple types like Lemongrass, Eucalyptus, and Vanilla Lavender. I think I am going to try the Vanilla Lavender next.
These are my favorite products that I use to make sure my skin is on point this winter. This switch up for the Atlanta weather is no joke, and we all need to prepare our skins properly to handle it.
