All About Suncare

Suncare is an important part of your routine. It can come in the form of protection in sunscreen, setting spray, setting powder and more. Protecting your skin from the sun is another form of anti-aging for your skin. One of my personal favorite brands is a new brand on the market called Supergoop! To try the brand, I purchased their All-Star Kit from Sephora and other products:

Supergoop! Daily Moisturizer SPF 40 PA +++

This moisturizer is a light, creamy formula that is perfect to complete your routine. It does not have a heavy sunscreen smell and it does not make your makeup start piling after applied. I used this product then placed the Unseen Sunscreen on top to seal the deal.

Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 40+

I am in love with this product. It is a clear matte formula sunscreen that is perfect for black skin. I talked about it more in “How to Use Trial Size Products to Try New Skincare.”

Supergoop! Invincible 100% Mineral Setting Powder SPF 45

This is a full-size product I purchased to pair well with my makeup. This setting powder is perfect for day touch-ups and putting sun protection on the top of your makeup. I use the translucent powder shade to use all year around.

Supergoop! Defense Refresh Setting Mist Broad Spectrum Sunscreen SPF 50

I set my makeup with this spray after my Urban Decay All Nighter Spray. It has an interesting scent that smells more like mint. You only need two to three sprays to get your entire face.

Supergoop is one of the great brands that are providing suncare on the market. They have a range of offerings that benefit many different skin types. Supergoop has products that are perfect for melanin-loved skin that does not give their skin an ashy look.
